Own A Special Piece From My Art Studio in Calgary

These are original canvases I paint by hand in my home studio in Calgary — Indian deities, Pichwai- and Madhubani-inspired pieces, and mandalas. Every one is painted in my own style, never printed or reproduced, so no two are alike.

Most started as a conversation. A family wanting something for their pooja room. A bare wall in a new home. A gift for parents moving into their first house here. I trained as an interior designer before painting became my work, so I think about where a piece is going — the wall, the light, the colours already in the room — as much as the canvas itself.

Painting is what I kept coming back to, and it's now what I do every day. My work hangs in homes across Calgary, and you're welcome to see pieces in person before you decide.

Have a look around. Commissions start at $200 depending on size — if something here gives you an idea for your own wall, tell me about it.
